First I've ever heard of it. Might have popped up on the old forums, but I do not remember it. I think it's safe to say that if it ever was around here, it was a long time ago and/or didn't stick around for long.

I don't remember it. One of the members from a couple forum software updates ago might. One of the updates screwed things up pretty bad from what I understand.

I've been on since 2000 and I don't remember seeing it.

There are a couple facebook groups that seem to have an uncanny ability to find old show trucks like that.

That would be the 2007 one when the hosts tried to steal the site. That's why you don't see much of anyone with a join date older than then. If anyone has an older join date it's because Jim changed it when he was setting up the new forum. I seem to recall that it was mostly some post counts that got corrected, not dates.

Speaking of I allegedly met the build/partial owner of this truck at a local swap meet a few months ago.

The truck wasn't there, but it was right after one of one of the big Tennennesse car shows and I'd seen pictures of it at the show (maybe even on here?). When I say allegedly, he brought it up when I mentioned working on a first gen and proceeded to decribe the truck in enough detail that I believed him. He could have picked any Ranger to talk about or made it up if he were bullshitting, but to pick that one... definitely seemed legit. Pretty cool to chat with the guy for a few minutes about it and first gens in general.

So yeah, we may not know anything the truck you're looking for, but keep looking. You never know who you might run into that has the answers/info.

This is one group I was thinking off, lots of near period trucks on there.
