My credo
i think i have some truck on my rust
I’m after a limited slip rear axle for my Ranger (1991 with an 8.8, 3.55) and I found one on Facebook marketplace out of a bronco/f series that has the same gears and is an 8.8. Could I use this no problems? Or would it at least be easy to convert? TIA.

Be way to wide.

Do you know how much wider? I don’t mind more offset from the wheels, just not excessively

About 10" wider
SHEESH. Never mind then. I also just remembered that they use a 5.5 instead of 4.5 bolt pattern so I was pretty much dreaming anyway

You might try www.car-part.com to find a limited slip with the ratio you want.

Ranger/Bseries are direct swaps, explorer 8.8'a will work if you reweld the spring perch on top of the axle
