Found this corroded connector under my dash thought it might have something to do with my dome light not working when I open the door. Pulled the connector apart and the wedgelock was fused together with corrosion. What’s the best way to fix this? Can I get these same crimp terminals or should I just solder that wire together outside of the connector?

I had a thread about these a few months ago. Dorman sells a replacement terminal that works perfect.

Look around the electrical section on this forum (where you posted this) and you should stumble across the thread. I cant remember the part number off my head.

Found your thread. I’m gonna need the female side also if I got this route. Did you need a special crimp tool also? I have a few different crimpers but not the fancy ratcheting ones

Im not sure about the female side. Seems like i ran across them when i was looking for the males. I didnt mess with the female side.

I just used a pair of pliers.
