Off topic, but I'm supposed to get my Dad's 2001 F150 Supercrew 4wd auto lariat 5.4 engine. I have to figure out how to get it from Gaffney SC to about an hour west of Nashville. It has about 235000 miles on it. B

That shouldn't be difficult. It's a relatively short trip. Gaffney is only 20-30 minutes from me.

Gender is about 8 hours from me, didn't know if it would be to much

Well crap, Gaffney is about 8 hours from where I love at now. That is how long my drive would be, lol. Stupid autocorrect

Probably a good thing you don't love at your neighbors house anyway.

Bring a friend, a gallon of coolant, a couple quarts of oil and some tools. You got it.

I would definitely have extra fluids and stuff. I've just been wondering if I should use the Ranger to pull the f150 on the trailer or the other way around

I would NOT tow a trailered F150 behind a Ranger. Over on this end of the trip, I-40 from TN to Asheville, NC and I-26 from Asheville, NC down to the SC border you will have very significant uphill and downhill grades with sharp curves. You want a beefy tow vehicle with excellent brakes and, hopefully at least one brake axle on the trailer.

And the '150 really won't enjoy towing a Ranger.

My 4000lb Ranger pulled harder than my 5000lb tractor.
