Ranger Raptor Assault School

Perhaps Ford still had some things to learn from their ownership of Land Rover from 2000-2008.

Apparently they think so too judging by the maintenance shed at the off-roadeo...

If I recall correctly, Ford leases that property. They've done a lot of improvements to it. I wonder how much the land owner is getting.

The same guy that owns the Horseshoe Bay Resort. Horseshoe Bay also catered the food for us and the only way to go to the Off-Roadeo is to stay at that resort, its an upgrade for one of their packages.

I was out at the ORV park on quads last summer and someone had a bronco sport back there. It looked like a pretty pedestrian model, and maybe the guy couldnt drive...but what i saw didnt impress me to much.

Im pretty sure i coulda got more done in my 2wd ranger.

If the setup on the Escape/ Bronco Sport is similar to the CR-Vs I owned, you can get pretty far with them. They aren't a 4X4 by any stretch of the imagination and you have to pay attention so you don't give the unibody a permenant twist but they should do more than most RWD vehicles.

I would venture to say it was more of a driver issue than a vehicle issue.

Thats entirely possible it was a driver issue.
