MOORE Expo

The funny part about this picture is that his camera doesn't have a viewfinder to look through. He loves that camera. Lots of pictures taken and some of them turn out good.

We had debates in Texas about this. He sees me use my viewfinder on my DSLR so he does it like me. I try to explain no, you need to look at your screen. So then he scolds me for not using the screen on mine. :fie:

Unfortunately we did not have time to visit the storyteller section.

MOORE Expo

Then we made our way back to camp.

MOORE Expo

Grilled burgers on the stove for supper since I didn't have room to pack a proper grille and our fire pit did not have a grate. Note the Avalanche and black jeep that passed us on the way down parked across the lane.

MOORE Expo

Eric made his famous baked beans and supplied Girl Scout cookies for dessert around the campfire.

MOORE Expo

Packing up to go home and the neighbors dog decided she wanted to move to Iowa...

MOORE Expo

Interesting display getting gas on the way out of town.

MOORE Expo

I really like the exo cage for the topper.

But..........

But..........

I just had the new TRS Staff Coach painted for the anniversary.

I dig the Ranger. I'd love to see and know more about it.

From there we went to Bass Pro's headquarters in Springfield. @Uncle Gump would have a heyday at this place.

Dunno how accurate it really is, Netflix has an awesome show on this. If not for that I would have no idea who this guy was.

MOORE Expo

It went on but we had to get going so we quit.

Neat little creek.

MOORE Expo

The fish just chilling in the strainer crack me up.

MOORE Expo

We did catch this one at a gas station on the way home. Otherwise, thats all folks.

I just looked it up. I might could make this by next year. It's only an 8 hour drive.

Part 1 of my adventure, the trip west.

Oliver's highlight reel from his camera. It is always fun to see what he find worthy of "taking a photo" and to see the world from his point of view.

Is that a sasquatch?

No, that is just Eric being sociable (actually he is trying to cook his famous baked beans and block the wind for his stove)

Part 2 is available

It was our pleasure, it was fun doing the run again and I actually got to drive it so it was kind of new to me.

Kind of funny on your way back I think from Cape Girardeau on you kinda followed our route to LBL last fall. We went across that big bridge (you can see in the background of my civil war memorial pics at Cape Girardeau) and that long narrow bridge across the Ohio River that made my Ranger feel big. We also cut across the dams at LBL too.

Pretty neat drive, Cairo is a very sad little town though. Not sure have experienced sadder.

I agree about Cairo. I didn’t look ok around and sightsee there. So I don’t know if there are prettier parts of the town. The section I rode through looked like the deserted parts of Detroit or maybe even looked like it had been ravaged by floods.

It's worth a Google.

Finaly got the video finished so now I can move onto Vagabond/Roundup stuff!
