I looked again for my original log in from way back. I do remember a time when forums were ranked... I use to log on daily to do my part for traffic count. I want to say TRS was ranked number one for a time.

But I can't remember it... so I'm just a newbie that won't shut up apparently.

I had a different user name back then. I think I changed when we had to restart after the former host stole the database. When was that, 2007? May have been later. @Jim Oaks if you still have member records from the old forum versions I'll PM you the old username and we can find out.

I had a slightly different screen name, too, before the "2007" join date that shows now for mine. I think it was like 2002 originally, but I'm not real sure (CRS never sleeps).

When was it that the site got hacked by the Turkish group? Anybody remember that?

I do remember that unpleasant business with the former site host; what a screwed-up mess that was.


I'm just glad that the site is still going stronger than ever.

Yes, that was 2007. You can see the old forum in the internet archive, you just can't open the posts. Although I was able to open some in the early versions.
