Did ever mention I love Craigslist and marketplace? I hate Facebook and Zuckerberg, but marketplace is growing on me.
This morning I picked up four almost brand new (still had a new tire smell) 185/65/14’s for my converter dolly and the ‘Raith, both of which are still dreams. $120 for 4 almost brandy new. 18 miles away, not much gas.
I went to my Shoney’s shed guy, and he mounted two of them and one of my 235/75/15s for the Towncart for 60 bucks. Rims had to be dismounted too.
While I was waiting for him to do the work, I browsed marketplace, and I found this tri-ball Pintle for $25.
Home Depot $97:
40 miles up and 40 miles back (1-1/2 hours total, 90% 75-mph interstate), about $15 in gas, and I got it for $20. I know I know, but I had to get it, I was down to like 20 hitches.
In between, I set up some little sawhorses to start work on the aluminum channel, and to hold the casket. I have to take the tub out of the casket to remove the handles for the paint job. I need the casket off the Road Ranger step trailer to fix the upper deck.
After those years of being injured and sick, I like it when the dominoes are falling forwards instead of backwards…
