Explorer Sport Trac Torsion Bar Lift Questions..

My Co-worker has a X Sport Trac n wants to fit 33s on it..
He is young n doesnt have much money for a real lift kit..

It looks like he can Stuff 31s Stock.. If he Cranks the Stock
Torsion Bars I think he can Stuff 33s.. Am I Wrong??

He doesnt plan on doing MAJOR off roading, Mainly wants
the lifted Look.. Also will 98+ Ranger Lift Keys work on his
truck??? Any n all help would be very much helpful. Thanx..

I'd crank the bars and toss in a 3" body lift. I've got the bars cranked enough to level my 05 sportrac and i'm running 265/75r16 Procomp AT's (roughly a 32" tire) You could get away with the 33's probably, they might rub a bit when turning.

I doubt you'd be able to run 33's safely without some modification such as a body lift. 265/75/a6s (31.6") is a perfect tire for just the leveled look.
