Seat fitment question

New guy here looking for a helping hand. I see the explorer seat swap is talked about often....can anyone tell me what it'll take to put 04 Mountaineer seats in my 99 Ranger supercab? Is it a simple seat track switch or are these seats tracks totally different than mine?

Mountaineer is the Mercury equivalent of an Exploder. Follow the same steps.

So the 04 leather bucket seats from an explorer/mountaineer will fit my 99 ranger bucket seat tracks?

Also, I was wondering if they ever made Exploders/mountaineers with leather seats that were not power....seems it would made the swap that much easier.

fyi, you can put manual explorer tracks on leather "power" seats. thats what i did. So now I have manual leather explorer seats. got the tracks for 6 bucks at the local pick n pull
