Coleman Liquid Fuel

I've only had toast made once on a Coleman stove... never again.

Works great, when it's cold it's hard to keep both sides warm to melt butter though.

My favorite stove in action again in it’s native Canadian habitat.

Totally jealous...

Well I worked the deck for the wife today... tomorrow I take a trip for deck supplies to finish up the task.

But I did just carve out a bit of time to get my coleman stuff running for the LBL trip next month.

Went over to my brothers and was sent home with a couple older lanterns... One Coleman 5101 old propane jobbie, it's tiny and interesting... the other is liquid fuel but made by "American Gas Machine Company", the tank is chrome and the lid is purple... I'll get pics of these up tomorrow night or maybe at lunch if I get the energy...

Saw this on market place... it is brand new condition and he took pictures of it from every angle to show it.

Still not sure I would pay that much for it tho

10% of that would be my top offer.

I’m cheap and I really don’t “need” it.

You could always offer him less and see if he’ll take it. It’s probably worth $200 to someone, it looks like it’s in great shape… but that someone is not me.

Hmmm... I don't have FB but I would be curious of the actual date stamp on that. If it is 9/62... I would be tempted. Actually... it would be mine.

A new dual fuel lantern is half that on amazon. I would offer half the asking price just because of the condition and the historical/collector value but it isn't worth $200 to me. A quick search on ebay, sellers are asking around $60 for the same/similar model.

200a’s are kinda hard to find, even harder in good shape and seem to demand a premium in any case… I would not doubt if it sold for asking price if it’s really an unfired, like new lantern. Out of my price range and interest level but it’s cool!
