When I pull the engine out of my sons bronco 2 I am entertaining the idea of dismantling it and making it into a coffee table! Little heavy yes, but it’ll be in the man cave so it’ll be on casters.

Use a 3.0 instead....itll be a better use then what they are typically used for. When I pull the engine out of my sons bronco 2 I am entertaining the idea of dismantling it and making it into a coffee table! Little heavy yes, but it’ll be in the man cave so it’ll be on casters.
Yet youll still get 300,000 sips from itNo matter how clean you get it, it will still find a way to leak oil and antifreeze. It’s a 2.9L, that’s just what they do.
I use to have a SOHC v6 crank and flex plate just like that in my shop for that same reasonSimilarly I have an old 2.8 crankshaft and flex plate that doubles as an ashtray in my shop. View attachment 95747
Sounds like the perfect use for a 2.9! You might even want to put some resin puddles under it that look like oil and antifreeze!
What do you think @PetroleumJunkie412 ?
