Found on road...

It's an attitude adjustment tool, keep it in the truck. Never hurts so have something like that handy just in case.
I do have a 12 year old son... might come in handy for the teenage years lol

Almost got one of those smaller 1/2" pins for the 1 1/4" hitches this morning but I wasn't stopped long enough and my magnet didn't work quick enough... :)

I did remember that over the last couple years I've found two side cutter pliers, harbor freight quality (one even Pittsburgh) but the jaws are even in good shape, one went in the plier drawer of the tool box and the other in the junkyard tool bag...

About 12 years ago I was working corporate banking world "night shift" noon-9pm....driving up past the northridge mall to the freeway home when I run over a shoe in the lane...further up I see another thing and swerve around it...

it was the body the shoe was attached to...Luckily swerved around that one (might have nicked the other shoe a bit)

Saw a cop just after the on ramp, so I went past to advise him there was a dead guy in the road just past a busy intersection..."yea we'll look into it" he says...and continues writing his ticket...Los Angeles is wild lol.

Found a ~4' long concrete stake at an intersection this morning, grabbed that up :)

I found a trenching spike in the middle of a busy intersection once. One of those 6’ tall steel rods.

That sounds heavy...weight guesstimate?
One of the form stakes with the nail holes, 3/4" steel rod, second look I think it's closer to 3' but whatever, free's free :)

I recall an old saying that went found on road dead, not sure where they got it

One of my better friends told me that in about 1978, he was married to one of my cousins, and I was dead on side the road with a bad transmission, headed for points unknown but mostly offshore

There are lots of acronyms for the different makes. I had a friend (Tony) that owned a fiat spider back in the late 70's. Fix It Again Tony was sooo true...lol.
Dead Or Dormant Going Extinct.

I think the only new car my father ever bought was a 68 Plymouth station wagon, had a 3rd seat looking backwards, we used to fight over who had to sit in it!
I would volunteer/call/fight for the backwards seat.

It really got old sitting looking backwards.
The only worse seat I ever had was sitting in a jet plane backwards. Lost my stomach on takeoff and didn't get it back until it leveled off at 35000 ft
