I got the OK from Jim. I’ll establish the group reservation at Prizer Point KOA this afternoon and post the details.

I’m also working on a list of items for a scavenger hunt. I don’t have any prize sponsorship. But I’ll put together a trophy for “Best Ranger Explorer 2023”. Many of the items will be pictures. So be sure to bring your cell phone or a camera with a display suitable for showing me your pictures to prove you found each item.

Not on purpose. But I can confirm that there is poison ivy and poison oak at LBL.

He never said anything about hiding stuff IN his air mattress… that’s the first place you should check.

I’m going to have to brush up on what poison oak looks like. As far as i know, I’ve never encountered it. Poison sumac is easy. Just look for the white berries.

That they don’t. From what I understand, they don’t grow around here. By the time the meet happens, if they are there, they will have berries.

Ok. The group reservation is active. To get the group discount, you must make your reservation over the phone. There is no way in their automated reservation system to attach your reservation to the group. So…
CALL 1-270-522-3752 then choose #2 for reservations. Tell them you are with “The Ranger Station”.

I’ll put this info at the top of the thread shortly. My boss wants me to play “worker bee” for a few minutes.

One side of the road is deluxe tent camping with water and electric. Other side is PRIMITIVE. Like we are used to. I think I show both in that video up above.
