There was an article on Zero Hedge last month, I believe, that Ford had to halt production of the "Lightning", due to, WAIT FOR IT, battery problems. LOL!!

Said article had a video of a production "Lightning" burning to the ground, and it wasn't even turned on. Gee, Who'da thunk it.

That’s the price of the 28’ motorhome I’m going to look at.

Tbh, I wouldn't even consider them for my fleet trucks at that MSRP.

Aside from the fact I can't charge them at a well site or at a hotel, $95k+ for a friggin pickup is comical - I would never recover the costs of that truck during its service life in the field. I have put good refurbished 1 tons in the garage for half that. 1 tons come with a ROI - they can do heavy work. 1/2 tons are runners/transport - zero ROI. So this thing would be a sunk cost before the ink dried.

But. This is being done for science. And for science we shall continue.
