I've had the same one for.. closing in on a decade now. Its been left outside for probably most of its life and I've never had to replace a seal or anything, should do you well.

Gots myself a FREE 80 gallon IR compressor from work. The compressor head is blown up.. or the motor doesn't work.. nobody can seem to remember. The motor is on the pallet the compressor is sitting on.

Gonna give it a diagnosis at some point and take it from there. I think my plan is gonna be to run it off a gas motor for simplicities sake.

You should be able to run one of those off a 30a 240v circuit if you wanted to put a new electric motor on it.

We just bought one for the shop last summer to replace out 20 year old Coleman blackjack.

They had a good deal on them at the tractor supply for Black Friday and I almost bought one for the house.

I can get a new twin cylinder pump head AND a motor for cheaper than it would be to get all that power ran to where I'm gonna keep the thing I'm thinking lol.

It's a pretty basic circuit, but if you got to pay a guy I have no idea.

Could get a hunk of SO cord and make and extension cord, run it in and plug it in at your dryer outlet. Can do the same with most welding machines.

I'm not sure, but I think you need an unloader to use a gas engine on an air compressor. That may offset cost savings. I have an old wisconsin gas engine I wanted to use for a compressor, but ended up not doing it and I think that was why.

I was envisioning cobbling some pressure switch type thing into the motors kill switch circuit, so once the tank hits its pressure it kills the motor.

I envision a lot though.. so..

Does such a thing even exist? Lol

The unloader valve releases pressure from the compressor during startup so your motor is not trying start up while pushing against output pressure.

Look like new right off the truck. I was digging through old tool boxes at a pawnshop for a 2 3/8 automatic hub socket and had to settle for these. It's been a long time since I've seen such a ratchet, can't even find a brand. Yesterday I was needing a thinner wrench to tighten some connections and this is one very thin adjustable wrench

A huge lever would work. It needs to be one of those really long ones with the ratchet, and you’ll need to get a steam engine. A handlebar mustache and one of those floppy hats will be mandatory.

I’ll take it off your hands if you don’t need it…

I'm not sure what the easiest way would be. It's been a long time since I've messed with one. First, look up specs on the machine and see if it's already built-in. The problem with something manual, is that you would want to actuate it every time the motor stops/starts. Even electric compressors often have unloader valves. It reduces the starting current of the motor by removing the load during startup.
