How do those mono leafs do under load? I never seen a ranger with one only explorersThat is very nice, has the single leaf fiberglass rear spring setup like mine has. Very clean. Looks like a 3.0 V6. Automatic though but Im not as opposed to a slush box as I used to be, I prefer a manual but a auto is no longer a deal-breaker for me.
4600 gvwr though is pretty close to what a normal ranger is rated at.They aint rated for much weight, it does ride nice-stock. Mine rides a little rougher cause I put coil helpers on, most of the time I dont need them, but Id rather they be there instead of putting them on when they are needed. Youd think a longbed would be the steel multi-leaf, and the shortbed reg cab monoleaf. A guy at work has a 94 shortbed 2.3 2wd manual and his is the multileaf steel spring pack. Heres my door sticker for the gvwr info and my suspension upgrade. I also took out the original 3.45 for a 4.10 axle, my buddy at work now has that axle under his truck, he had a bad axle seal and the cross pin bolt broke off on him. As you can see, my left shock mount broke off from rust and I had to rig a new one up.
