I'm gonna change my plans a bit and do this closer to the way I did it last year. I'll hopefully be there a bit earlier this year just to hang out. I really don't have a desire to run my truck around Badlands... it's my driver and I have the G-Unit that will do these kinds of things eventually. I'll be happy coming for the people alone.

Friday is also my wife's first day of vacation... she has big plans for the new fixer upper with my daughters that weekend. I have a bunch of new battery-operated Ryobi yard tools and a super nice 8-piece Ryobi tool set coming on Thursday for all of them to share while they do whatever the hell they want to that house... and everything else they plan to do in the future. I want to make sure they're all set for their projects and ensure they all know the safety concerns associated with their newfound power tool palooza. I was thinking I might even build a fire in the pit out back of the new place to officially break it in and roast the very same hot dogs on a similar stick I would have done in Attica... just with different "family".

I'm coming in lite too... not gonna erect the palace. Sleeping bag... pillow and an air mattress. I'm bringing my new compressor and we will see how well it works blowing up the air mattress... and we can test its performance if anyone is so inclined. I'll probably beg Eric for some hot water Sunday morning... and ask that he makes sure we have space to do the pizza thing on Saturday. He is already bringing all the hardware and most likely has a plan for it all anyway. I'll bring my table and a cooler full of supplies. Eric... I also owe you a beer from last year. I'll bring a six pack and be totally drunk on two... but you and I will toast another successful campfire pizza fest when it's done... on me this year.
