Seems like there’d be something that’d bbe a good crossover… soap dispenser in the bathroom, napkin dispenser in the kitchen, urinal in the garage…?

An empty Prestone jug makes a fine garage urinal.

As far as I know, there is nothing saying you can't. Your state/county/municipality may vary on that.

When my parents built their retirement home, My dad wanted a commercial range and oven because he brews huge vats of beer. The insurance company said no and he couldn’t find anyone that would install it anyway in the house. He ended up getting a higher end residential one, and service has been a bear as nobody is really familiar with them.

I think I would shy away from those TP dispensers with the huge rolls of TP.

That stuff is like buck rub...

I just go behind the garage...
I just go in the house. Here is a view of all the people who have "view" of the back of my garage.

That wasn’t a good option for me. We lived next to the K-12 school. I didn’t want to have to put a sign in the yard…

Nearest neighbor is over a mile of farm ground from me that direction.

Everything is very wide open where Im at now, Need to park the box trailer or ranger trailer beside the garage so I have a outside spot. Oddly enough where I was a year ago had plenty of spots, but I also had a full privacy fence around the backyard and with it being smaller all my stuff that wasnt garageable was all in one corner.

I have a tree stump behind the garage for this purpose, or I go across the street and go in the creek.

Not all commercial fixtures are designed to be more robust or more functional. I think a lot are just designed to be cheaper to install and maintain.

Whatever you do, don't install an air hand dryer. Those are the worse, especially the dyson ones.

Every dyson one I've seen is the 'U' shaped one you stick your hands into. And there's always a pile of goo at the bottom of the 'U.'

Usually if there's an air dryer I just wipe my hands on my pants. The air dryers take too long and I'm impatient.

"They're more sanitary then paper towels"

yeah ok

you can put a urinal in the garage. i have been to lots of houses (when i used to do plumbing inspections) that had urinals in the garage. its usually on two story houses where the garage is underneath that i see them. i have been saying i was going to do that in mine for about 12 years now but i just go behind the garage where the overgrown field covers me from being seen.

i have also been saying i was going to add a wash basin too so i can wash my hands but i have a short piece of hose hung up right by the roll up garage door with a five gallon bucket under it that works great. the soap is sitting on the ground next to the bucket so everything is in place.

i finally put a "table" on the upstairs deck (house is on top of garage) so the little hibachi bbq can sit on it and i put a hose there so i can wash everything as i use it. i actually have some granite (or marble) slabs with basins attached to them from a house remodel that i was going to use for the garage basin and porch basin but i need to make a better stand for the porch. right now the current slab is on two saw horses because i grabbed a slab i could carry up by myself so it just got a 4 footer.
