TRS 25th Anniversary

2024 will be the 25th anniversary of The Ranger Station. It's not that far away. If you think about it, we only have a little over a year to plan.

In 2019 we celebrated our 20th anniversary. It was kind of a crazy year because I was doing things with the 2019 'Loan Ranger', and I was still living in my camper in an RV park, so I wasn't really settled anywhere.

So I want to put this question to the masses;

What would you like to see us do? Any event, gathering, or trail ride suggestions?

I know I don't want to have the same Ford Ranger. Nothing against it, but it's basically the same Truck that I built in 2005. I have no idea what I'll show up with. It will probably come down to what I can find a deal on and what parts I can come up with.

So the Moderators here and I would like to get some feedback and ideas from everyone one.

Well... this would be the time to tell us your thoughts.

I think maybe we should try to circulate another banner at a minimum. Perhaps send it to several regions with a more localized gatherings. In the end... it gets sent back to Jim to hang in his shop.

And of course... pictures along the way with groups and individuals and their truck to make a photo album.

I just think it's a good way to get the 2wd membership in on the project.

US interstate 25 runs North from Las Cruces, New Mexico to Buffalo, Wyoming, lots of places along that route

I can organize some banner events in the southeast - Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida?, Virginias.

I'm in a better place in life than I was when the banner was close to me last, with the last couple years I have NO idea what the next couple will bring...

That said if there's something within a few states I'd probably be up for a road trip...

I've seen pictures of those bratwursts you have for fingers, I believe you.

With as much as I smoke, I barely have enough air in me to run from bed to the bathroom at 1am after Taco night..

We can drive our trucks, everyone else can run.
