Anybody have a regular Ford accessory one handy to measure the outside-to-outside of the two big main vertical plates for me?

Looking at you @Shran

Unfortunately I no longer own one, the only grille guard I have on a Ranger is aftermarket.

I would think it would be the same as the outside width of the frame. I'm only guessing because most of the push bars on older trucks bolted to the outside of the frame.

Are you trying to make one? It looks very basic.

IIRC, they were 3/16" or 1/4" plate and the tubes were 2" x .180 wall.

I have the headlight guards to go on the outside of one so I would like to match the width for those.

And I have a receiver mounted winch plate that needs trimmed to fit inside of whatever that ends up.

It's 25-3/4" on the outside, 25-1/4" on the inside, plates are 1/4" each. They attach to the truck by 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/16 angle iron brackets, 1-1/4 long. The brackets bolt to the frame with the bumper bolts, then bolt to the outside of the plates. The tubes on mine are 1-3/4" diameter. They've been replaced (originals rotted out) but I have no reason to believe the originals were any different. If you need more info, let me know. I could probably draw up the plate and dimension it so you could make your own, or send it to someone to be cut.

If you would want to dimension a plate that would be awesome. Any close up pics would be great too.

I have to get a CAD computer set back up, among other things, but i'll try to get it done sometime. Hopefully you're not in too big of a rush.

Not really, with the width I can freestyle the rest of it if I have to.

I might have to anyway, not sure my daylighters will fit with the Ford tube spacing.

If they're the common size that is copied by everyone, they'll fit

The Ford ones are rectangular, mine are the old school round ones.
