I've seen a couple "stupid headlines" on the internet saying adding WD40 to fuel improves mileage/performance.

this is what WD 40 looks like after sitting for a couple months, the wax and other thick stuff settles out.
ain't no way I want that in my fuel filters and injectors.

How much WD-40 per gallon?

Where do you go on the internet to find headlines like that?

Just wait. That kind of valuable I formation will eventually find you. You don't have to search for it.

It's probably an article that Ginger Billy submitted to Popular Mechanics Magazine.

I’ve seen it pop up on the ads at the bottom of the forum

Lord knows what @fastpakr gets hit with for targeted ads instead of something so mundane...

I see the nose of a 1990 or 1991 Ford Taurus in that shot. Those are nice cars.

Well if your vehicle can only be driven 1/2 the time, then YOUR fuel consumption was reduce 50% so its true

It doesn't say it "increases MPG" anywhere, people just assume "reduces fuel consumption" and better MPG are the same thing
They are not, or the Ads would say "this simple trick gets better MPG"

You dump WD40 or Ketchup into your gas tank and you WILL reduce engine run time, count on it

So... funny story. I don't see ads on TRS in either the desktop or mobile version. Clearly I'm missing out!

the ketchup one is new to me
