More Bronco hear say.

It costs a lot of money to print paper owners manuals. Then if you find a mistake... you reprint... gets very expensive. Electronic versions are far cheaper and can be updated with a few clicks of a mouse.

Is it there now?

I seen an Iowa company transport on 80 when I was heading to Utah, had a ranger Baja on the front and 5 broncos.

The fat bronco is definitely a raptor ...they are out of camo.

But the fat ranger is not out of camo.

The good.... They are testing v8 and the cyclones. The bad ...those would be for an r model at best. Very limited 100 k rigs ... It's possible because the oz guys are pushing it.... So that brings my hate down to dislike for that douche....

With it having the nano engines already.. the 3.0 is a nano like 2.7...... hybrid like my powerboost makes the most sense for remote boondocking and of course all electric..cause hummer and rt1.

They are FATT.

Ours is scheduled to go down the line this week, blend date is Friday.

Id rather have that then a new raptor bronco. Probably more capable too.

I'd rather have it too... But when I end up trashing most of the powertrain it complicates saying it us more reliable than thd Raptor which has 3x+ the power, huge axles and factory 37's.

Rubber band first Gen trans, D28 and 7.5 need not apply...

Right....but atleast when you break a 1st gen B2 you dont see your wallet start crying. A hot 351, T18 4sp, some 35s and a 9in/D44 combo, locked both ends, and pry still 60k ahead of the game.

Eh, 30+ years ago I bet broken BII's hurt wallets too.

I'd love to build a 1st gen B2 with all that hardware. But it sure doesn't sound like something I'd take off on a cross country trip with. A new Raptor would do that in easily and handle the same/harder trails willingly.

Ok then.....15k for a good 7.3PSD SD, 3000 for a good 18ft equipment trailer, and youre still 40k ahead.

Not to mention the piece of mind that WHEN you break something you still have a way to get the mess home.

Plus the SD would be more comfy, cruise better, and pry get roughly the same mileage.

My issue with the raptor stuff (and maybe the bronco wont be, but judgeing by the F150) it seems way more geared to high speed desert type stuff rather then trail riding/mudding/crawling stuff. Im guessing because its eaiser to market to the average person ("oh i do 65mph on my daily commute everyday. How fun would it be to drive that fast across empty sands and jump scrubbrush! hells yeah bruh!")

Im not denying that the raptor stuff looks cool, and is plenty capable for a stock rig and for people wanting to "off road" its a great starting place when your mechanical skill stops at knowing how to plug in your cellphone.

Im just saying that for actual off roading guys who know how to make things they seem silly(atleast to me i guess) when you could spend 1/4 of that and have something more capable that you dont have to explain to the insurance company why its tottalled after being fished out of a pond.

Not trying to argue. Just stateing an opinion

No question that it's more oriented towards the faster approach to off road than crawling.

But there's nothing anywhere in RBV history that could come close to it, much less surpass it.

And now I have to also buy a full size truck and an 18 foot trailer?

No stock RBV no. Thats my point lol. Athough i bet it wouldnt be hard to squeeze a BII into places that would jam up something as big as a new bronc.Espicially if youre trying to avoid body damage.

Sure why not? You could use the truck and trailer for other things, hell daily it. Like i said and still be way ahead money wise, and unlike spending 60k+ for a new bronco as youre only ride you dont have to worry about "what if i mess it up" or downtime or whatever.

Theres not a right or wrong answer. Just differeny ways of looking at it.

I have a fairly capable BII and I don't foresee driving it on major road trips. Not sure I'm ready to invest in a tow vehicle and trailer.

Does the old Bronco have a warranty? I must have misssd that.

I keep getting them too.

When I start mentioning my tote of parts receipts things get real quiet though.
