Restored B2 with snow plow.

HA

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

25k for an auto 2.8?

No.

25k is a bit optimistic.

15-18k isnt out of the question to the right person from what ive seen online

Ugh. "Completely" restored... no AC belt, headliner falling apart, ripped up seat, cheap lift kit, engine bay needs to be detailed... hard pass. It looks nice otherwise but I bet there's a lot of bondo hiding in that pig. Reminds me of a "restored" Explorer I looked at - owner said it had no rust - yeah, all the rust had been cut out and replaced with spray foam and bondo. So yeah, no rust.

Jeez if that thing sells for 25k I'm sure I should ask a cool million for my stepside truck if I ever sold it. I may be sitting on a gold mine!

There is a gent here locally trying to sell an 84' B2 for $25K as well. His is pretty ratty looking (rusty and dented) BUT it has a Shelby HiPo 289 ci w/C4 and a NP205 transfer case. Way over priced IMO.

Oh yes... this one: https://rapidcity.craigslist.org/cto/d/hot-springs-1983-ford-bronco-11/7428309249.html

I don't know what to think of that clown. His last set of pics showed 20+ year old license plates on it... clearly it has sat for a LONG time. I can't believe he's got it advertised as having a Carroll Shelby engine with no documentation or proof. Might as well be an early 80's 100hp 302 with Shelby valve covers on it, who knows. Dude is obviously clueless about what he has and will be sitting on it for quite a while.

Back around 05 a buddy of mine bought a "restored" 84 F150 off ebay. Sight unseen besides pics. On the way home on the trailer his "restoration work" began coming apart going down the freeway.

Someone stuffed the rot holes with newspaper, stuck some windowscreen over it then smeared bondo on it and spray painted it.

It was atleast solid mechanically (300/O/D 4sp) and he did get some use from it though.

Hell no! I'll say it

Tell me he's a boomer without saying he's a boomer. 😐

Why don't you just tell us how you feel about boomers?

Not that I have any plans on selling my Bronco II... but things like this sure make me feel better about what I paid for mine.

Just looking at it bet it has a 2.8... the thing is 110% factory original otherwise.

I think it actually does have a V8 of some sort. The guy keeps changing the ad and the pics and at one point there was a largish engine under the hood with Shelby valve covers and what looked like a 4bbl carb. But that might as well be all it has, some polished parts on a turd... I don't trust a word he posts.

Makes me think of high school - my buddy had a Maverick with a inline 6... was a gutless wonder. He was bragging about putting a Thunderbird V8 in it... after the swap it was virtually no better but it sounded cool. As it turns out it was a 255! Those had maybe 100hp downhill with the wind. I think that car had really tall highway gears too. It was like the opposite of a sleeper.
