It cracks me up that you think they are equal. My truck is rated to 17k. A Cummins is more like 20k. It blows even my 06 F250 away when pulling a load. It's a night and day difference in how much harder these things pull. It's ok to prefer your 97 but you talk a lot of shit about how useless the new stuff is

The new stuff is useless unless all youre doing is towing on the freeway.

If rusty towed the same load with that powerboost, back to back with his 250....with the astounding amount of low end torque that powerboost critter thing makes....


He would paint his 250 pink and abandon it in key west or sanfransisco.

I'd be totally down for an electric vehicle if it had the range I'm looking for, which is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 500 to 600 miles.

I don't buy into all the doomsday climate stuff. But, just because I don't believe the world is going to end in five years because man has destroyed our climate, doesn't mean that I don't believe we should do what ever we can to minimize my impact on the environment.

I never owned anything with a 3 on the tree. I have driven a few....personally i always preffered 4 on the floor lol

The 3speeds just didnt lend themselves to speedshifting. I could smash them old long throw truck 4's faster then most could probably shit a 5 speed.
