Built the box out of 3/4" MDF. Fits good! Sounds excellent!

Amp is mounted to the bracket that held the 4x4 computer. Had to modify the bracky and rivet two strips of aluminum to it. 4x4 computer is now relocated under the center console.

Parts:

-Lanzar shallow 10" (LINK) - $58
-Small sheet of 3/4" MDF - $8
-Alpine V12 amp - $35 (AWESOME OLD AMP!)
-AGU fuse holder and fuse - $2
-All wire needed I already had
-Clip plugs for sub box - $4.99

This is played with my oldschool Pioneer DEH-P3300 which is an awesome old head.

(Ignore the messy amp wires)

It thumps hard, what do you guys think?

Can you still let your seat all the way back? Thats my only problem?

It has to be forward two notches. Really doesn't make a difference. :)

i have the 60/40 bench seats. my passenger side has to be forward a little too. only because my measurements werent correct. otherwise my elemental designs 9kv.2 wouldve fit just fine.

good job on the box. looks nice.

My measurements were off too. I dropped my sub in the box and still has almost 2" between the magnet and the rear of the box.

Ohwell lol.

Thanks Pistons23, was my first box :)

Not a bad install.

Can I make a suggestion about the wires? Make a small hole under the amp. Run all wires under the amp and through the hole, then remount the amp.

For your first install, good job

I havn't hidden the wires yet.... I just threw them in pretty much to get it done. Probably going to bedliner the sub box too.

so why dont you cut an inch and a half off the back of the box, youll have room to put your seat all the way back... :dntknw:

I could.... But then the top piece will be a tiny weird strip. It's find how it is and the seat doesn't really bother me.

Maybe if I build another box and sell this one in the future.

:)
