Are these stock or am i just living in a hole...?

Yeah, I would keep the BL. I don't know if I could stand to have a RBV without one actually.

I don't have anything on a second gen, here are the accessory grille guard and rollbar options for a first gen though.

The steps are aftermarket, possibly a dealer add-on. Not factory.

The push bar and bed bar are aftermarket, they’re not Ford STX bars.
The rear part of the Ford bed bar is 3 pieces and makes a complete hoop from wheel well to wheel well. It bolts to the front hoop at the light brackets.
The Ford push bar attaches at the upper bumper mounts with small 90° brackets. The headlight guards are welded to plates that bolt on to the pushbar.

Look at the pictures though, he doesn't have the fender clearance to lower it back down.
the fender spacing isnt an issue for me. in the pictures the truck has 31” tires (or at least in that size range, i’m not 100% sure on what size exactly) and are substantialy wider as well. i’m not going with the “discount baja” look like the previous owner, currently i have just a factory size rim and tire set on, for right now this is my daily, my other truck needs a bunch of work, but when that’s all said and done, i’m getting a new set of rims and tires that are tailored to more of the “street “ style rather than it looking like it’s meant to rip through dunes.

apologies for my lack of understanding/ familiarity, but what do the acronyms you used mean? also, mine is a 1990 model ranger, would that not be a first generation truck rather than second? (first gen being ‘89-‘92) or is there a subgroup or something like how a ‘99 silverado is considered first gen even though gm released a “silverado” model many years prior?

83-88 is generally considered first Gen.
