5.0L 347 Stroker?

Just curious if anyone has tried to swap in a 5.0L 347 Stroker

No different than putting a 302 in. It's just a stoker kit. Granted you will usually have to change and modify a few items to get the performance from a stroker I have a stroked 351 to 396 in my Ranger. Do your homework, buy a good stoker kit then over build everything else.

I thought about it... but i was going to end up with more power than i wanted. The main thing, is when you buy heads, go with 351 heads and cam.

IMHO, Theres no such thing as more power than I wanted!
Its like this, for women it is "you can never have enough money, silk blouses, or chocolate.
For men; "you can never have enough tools, horsepower, or large breasted red heads!
