Still looking good on the outside. I hope I can get the rust underneath repaired. She loves her truck and its 245K+ mileage
Thanks rumblecloud, This truck spent its life in New Jersey. Retired now to Texas so I expect very little rust from here on in. So far All new brake components, brake lines and master cylinder. Plus had to replace filler neck hose, That was a chore the bed had to be raised to get to it. The body to frame mounts are completely rusted away and the exhaust might as well be non existent. Most important the frame looks a bit thin where I pulled off the rust. I probably need a frame expert or somebody more knowledgeable to tell me if its worth it to keep going. Anyway one step at a time from here on. And I hope she decides on getting a new one before we go to far. Congrats to keeping your wife's Sport trac. They say happy wife-happy life. good luck. Also thanks ericb for your comment.my wife is the same way about her 02 Sport Trac. 240+ miles, but time is catching up to it. It's a tank, but she just loves it.
Body looks really good on yours. Hope you can get the rust taken care of.
