Who agrees?

It can cause excessive sweating, urination, vomiting... It's all over the place anymore and is used by major companies... It can't be washed off of food products that have been exposed to it, and more. Doesn't sound like a very good thing to me...

*edit, I forgot, I wanted to make this a poll, can a mod do that with a yes or no please? Thanks.

If it is something bad, then why not ban it?

Why because you also need it to live.......so do the fishes....birds and every other life form?

this is a old science fair project on how people can be manipulated

di-meaning 2
hydrogen-the element
mono- meaning 1
oxide meaning oxygen....
put it all together and viola!-H2O!

my chemistry threw this little mindbender at us last year

Since everyone is so intent on trying to spoil things... yes, that would be correct. :temper:

yep, this is an old project that was actually a test to prove how gullible people really are....

Fuckin hilarious! I am going to start talking about that stuff when eating with friends and such.

Hahahaha! I didn't even think about the meaning of each part of it. Once you put all the bold letters in that sentence, it made sense.

Thanks for the good laugh!

DOH! I guess I can call the plumber back and cancel that appointment...

Hahaha, tricky..... Now i feel dumb.

What about deuterium oxide? I hear that's just as deadly.

Don't think it would be a problem since it hardly exists in nature just by it self. But is quite useful in nuclear reactors.

Sure it does. D2O (and DHO) is a trace compound found in all natural water sources. It's just not concentrated.

And it's completely harmless.

Try googling "DHMO." There is quite a lot of development on this (though the old Santa Cruz site is gone).
