Anyone know what the little buggy is for in the back? Inspecting tracks or something? Can't tell if it has rubber tires or wheels for running on tracks (maybe rubber wheels that run on tracks?) Anyone with B-N or know what they would be doing with little Rangers in the fleet?

Interesting. It might be made to run on rails since it seems to be too wide to fit in the bed of the truck.

the Ranger looks cool.

Parts of my truck are a special order "WT7514 green" per the door sticker, the outside has since been panted something close to rustoleum "hunter green" to make all the various parts the same color.

Trying to figure out who would have ordered a dark non metallic green and B-N (now BNSF) is local, by chance a google search turned up that picture.

Stop spreading lies!!!

Should be just the right level of technology for Rusty.....

I'm guessing it's something to drive from one end of the train to the other. Couple years ago I was a driver for a railroad subcontractor and often I was the one driving the conductor from one end of the train to the other. Mostly I picked up and delivered crews to some train out in the middle of nowhere which was sometimes an adventure to find. Pay was decent but it was easily the worst job I've had in my life.

The fact that this thread is still going is HIGHLY offensive.

My parents live next to the tracks, RR is always parking vans/surburbans/Expeditions at the end of the driveway picking up/dropping off crews.

I have seen all sorts of hodge-podge looking RR vehicles, I have never seen anything Ranger sized.
