What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

got my “red” speedometer gear in the mail today, speedometer is only off 5mph now, best its ever been and as good as its going to get, might be spot-on with the summer 235’s , not swapping tires around just to check though. mowed the yard for the last time and put the blade on the mower along with tire chains & rear weights. Im doubtfull about snow but if it does for some reason this winter I’ll want to try it out, nows the time to have it ready, not when its 20 degrees out.

Changed the oil and filter on the 2011 and realized 70,000 miles has hit and I need to order new chain tensioners. Oil for the other two vehicles is in the garage. Maybe I'll get to them on Sunday or Monday. I need to run through the preventative maintenance list on all of them yet as well.

Took the ranger on what likely be its last trip as 4cyl to get heads from machine shop. Nice drive into the mountains, wont miss downshifting to 4th for every incline to maintain cruise speed

97 B4000 radiator leaking, figured I'd replace the water pump and thermostat while I'm in there.

Didnt get any pictures. Been slowly working on finishing interior restore. It's been going slow the weather had turned 3 weeks ago, and now I cant get any painting done outside. Luckily I was able to take some things to work and paint in the heated warehouse. Got the dash reinstalled, made a patch panel to cover a hole in the fire wall I couldn't find a grommet for, then drilled for size of grommet I had to run choke cable. Got the guage cluster heater controls, new antenna, headliner, door seals, interior windshield trim, dome light, carpet, heater ducts, steering wheel, multifunction switch. Today was a busy day. Only have to finish cutting holes in carpet, install seat belts, seat, b pillar trim rear window trim, stereo, glove box light, dash bezel, heater vents, dash trim strips, cigarette lighter, reconnect choke cable to carb, reconnect heater core redo dash grounds, and engine grounds. Yesterday while waiting for paint to dry, I went and bought a 175 mig welder, ran a new 220 30 amp circuit for it. Which required running 50 ft of 10-2 in conduit on exterior of house than running under the house to opposite side. Now I'll be able to rebuild exhaust, build new battery tray and other future projects, thinking front bumper, skid plates, rock sliders, but now I'm just getting ahead of myself lol.
