I swear when I rode in this thing I thought those switches were factory. This thing is loud. Don't plan on having any conversations when it's going down the road. LOL.

You should hear it bouncing off the limiter at 8500 RPM.

It may be time to sell this and start over.

I found a way to make these street legal and I want something faster off the line, with a higher top speed. The new Yamaha RMAX 1000 will do 72mph and the YXZ1000r will go over 80.
Now I’ve got to decide if I keep this one and stay limited to 45-50mph, replace it with a faster one, or just buy a second one. One other option is a Yamaha Apex engine swap... 160hp snowmobile engine would really motivate this thing.

Hell just buy a few more... pile them up like cord wood.

Being able to make one of these side by sides street legal is really a game changer. I know in Northern Michigan... for several years now they have allowed all types of legal ORV's use right or ways to travel into towns and gas stations ect... Just as they do with snowmobiles in the winter. Small business up there needs the tourist dollars.

I still don't think I would own one unless I could pull out of my garage and drive it to where ever I want to go.

Makes absolutely zero sense to me how a motorcycle is legal to ride on the street, but a quad is not.

Theyre both 'bikes.'

It's because 95% of the human population would ride a quad like a total Jack Wagon... I'm glad I don't have to share the street with them.

Politely disagree. Theyre Street legal in the UK; never saw a problem them when I lived there.

Plus, have yet to see someone act like a jackass on a street and trail.

If you want to see a jackass on a bike, look no further than the HD emblem...

I agree with Gump... not on the number, but on the fact that there will be jack-asses. I firmly believe it will be the Banshee, LT, sport quad riders way more-so than the utility quad riders.

Must be the UK isn't full of Jack Wagons.

Seriously... I don't want to share a road with them.

Chances are, the jack wagons on quads and side by sides are also jackwagons in their cars and trucks. They're out there in all forms.

In my area, you are allowed to use golf carts, side by sides, etc. On the road Within a certain distance of your home. Some places require that you get some kind of registration sticker. But there isn't much to it. I see plenty of responsible people using that privilege and I see the irresponsible jackwagons. Several weeks ago, 2 nights in a row, someone came flying up my road on a street bike at about 90mph in a 35mph zone. The vehicle doesn't define the idiot. His/her actions do.
