What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Took kid up to the Glen and we had a tail gate lunch. We sat in the shade and enjoyed some Subway.

I also ordered up a new blower motor for it so I can get it changed out before the really cold weather sets in. I do my best to avoid working on anything in the cold nowadays.

Got the 2011 inspected and emissions tested today. They didn't say anything about the warped rear rotors. So good for another year. Now I just need to get them fixed.

You need to have functioning brakes to pass inspection in PA? Dang...

It's one of those "safety" things. They are kinda particular about that for some reason... LOL

The original discussion has disappeared. IDK.

We need some positive news. What did you do to your Ranger taday?

Onward.. Disconnecting fuel line at the filter.and remove all of it up to the rail. They made this way too complicated with all the change ups and assorted connectors and the stabilizer pieces are so unnecessary. I get they were designed to just be a pain in my brain. Seems they could come up with.a simpler design. I understand the need for heat considerations. The vibration issue? I'm not gonna replace exactly as they did. Keep it simple AND safe.

@SmartMax1 and @Sneeblii you know all you guys have to do is scroll to the bottom of the page to post a new post, right?

I don’t think the site owner wants his notifications blowing up from everyone replying to his post.

Picked up 3 universal joints and the carrier bearing. Hope to assemble the drive shaft tomorrow

It’s annoying when someone quotes you for no reason... isn’t it?
