Everyone jumps my ass just cause i have an opinion that differs from the norm. And i dont even remember what you did with your 79 but excuse me for thinking that we should preserve classic stuff and enjoy it as is instead of hacking shit up making it basically a classic shell riding on new hardware. How about you have your opinion, others have their opinion... and you stop telling people what they should or shouldn’t do. You bitch and whine about the government “can’t tell me what to do”, “the liberals are trying to push their ways on us”... What are you doing???
Times are changing... cars/truck are expensive and people need a vehicle that can do it all. A 4 door truck is WAY more versatile to a family then a regular cab.
Who gives a shit how long the bed is, as long as it does the job the OWNER needs it to do! I stress the OWNER because you can’t seem to comprehend that it’s not your decision as to what someone else’s vehicle should be. We’ve had this argument before when you told me what I should do with MY ‘79.
FACT of the matter is my crew cab short bed f150 was more capable of doing “truck things” than any Ranger I’ve ever owned. It could carry more weight, it could tow more, I could put more dirt or mulch in the bed, it could carry 9 cubic feet more cargo than a Ranger 7’ bed, my quad fit in the bed, all while being able to carry 6 people.
Whatever, its your truck, buy i can voice my opinions about it.
