More Bronco hear say.

For all I now their "specialists" are probably just salesmen or someone Ford sent to blow smoke up your ass..... Im very pessimistic what can I say....

That Dealership is Keller Brothers holding the event.

I know someone who works at McGuires Ford ill have to ask if they are doing anything

I won $16 in the lottery last week. Now that I’m rich, maybe I’ll order one.

well you do now have 1/16 of the deposit.

I just saw this... maybe they will do a Bronco pick up after all.

They have to have offerings to round out the brand...

I don't see the point of building the Ranger if they do that...

The same could have been said when the exploder sporttrac came out.

Did they have a 4dr Ranger for it to compete with?

IMO kill the Ranger as we know it and take the speculated truck the media is calling "the Bronco pickup" and call it a Ranger. The first gen Ranger styling was kinda based on a EB anyway.

Even then the ST was hardly a success story. They would have probably been better off if they had nixed the goofy styling, made the bed a little bit longer and called what everybody had been screaming for all along: Ford Ranger Supercrew.

There is a bit of confusion with the dates of this information... not sure how true it is... but it did get posted by the admin n a different site.

I was hoping all along it would be reflective of the original... like a half cab... but with a longer bed area. Not with a separate cab and box... just one long tub. But it seems if it does come... they will be four door and a short box.

If they do the Bronco pickup, I hope they don’t make the same mistake GM did with the Hummer truck (SUT?).

That being said, maybe I can talk the girlfriend into buying a Bronco. I won’t be in the market anytime soon. I already have a truck payment.

Well, I guess it would depend on how the two trucks are configured. If the Ranger is IFS, and the Bronco has a solid axle, then there's a huge advantage to having the two trucks.

It'd be similar to the Escort and the Tempo. They were manufactured at the same time, same size, same available options, but one was only a sedan, and the other was a hatchback or a wagon, but no sedan until 1991.

GM did that in the 80's with the Beretta and Celebrity (both Chevrolet models). They were the same size, but slightly different. All three did it in the 60's and 70's. Ford had the LTD and the Galaxy for a while. Originally the LTD was a trim level of the Galaxy, but it became its own model. GM did the same thing with their models.

In other words, it's been done before, and it actually worked, because the two (or more) models were targeted at a different audience.

So I just called my local Ford Dealer... and asked if they were doing a sales event. They have nothing going on... and seemed clueless about the entire thing... and No Bronco Specialist on staff. For pete's sakes...

Who the heck is Pete, and why are so many things said and done for his sake?

Can I borrow 20 bucks for methamphetamines and taco seasoning?

I've got a great business idea but just need some startup money.

Everything I have seen says Bronco has IFS.

So they would have three small pickups counting the Courier/Maverick thing.

Because he's from Texas, and you don't mess with Texas

Yeah. Sure. Go sit by your mailbox and wait for it. In fact, I'll give you 10,000 cruzeiros and you don't have to pay me back.

I would buy the Bronco truck if they offer it the way that picture looks. I love square body trucks.
