Coronavirus

Ooohh Pontiac

43487

My daughter sent me this and asked me if I needed her to post my bail. LOL.

Rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated...

I've been on a Pontiac restore and Dodge repair bender...

As for hair care,

Get one of these...

More than 30$ but always a classic.
Don't care about hair care tips. Its Flow bee or nothing.

Well apparently you can catch it twice.

The article you linked doesn't say anything about catching it twice.

It does say:
"A second positive test after a negative result may mean the virus is simply taking its time leaving the body, doctors said, and is no longer able to infect others. "
"It's possible that people could shed remnants of the virus for some period of time. That doesn't mean anything is wrong with them or that they are contagious," said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease expert at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville"
"McKee said her doctors believe the virus went dormant after her first round of coronavirus, then reemerged."
"What we're finding more and more is that the fragments of virus that are being picked up on these swabs weeks later are not able to replicate," Dr. Ania Wajnberg, associate director of medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, told NBC News. "They're not live virus."

The tests being used have a higher than desirable rate of false positives and false negatives too. In some cases, it's 1 in 5:

My wife works in the IU School of Medicine genetics lab (accountant) and they are working on creating a test to see if you have had it (have antibodies ). She did say that there are two commonly used tests out there right now, one of them has more instances of false negatives than the other. Abbot makes one that has more false negatives than the others I guess the Eli Lily test is fairly accurate. there are many more out there, but those are the two more common ones in Indiana.

And I would say that Corona virus is here to stay, we are *all* going to get it eventually, just like regular flu. I honestly think I had it back in early February this year... never had a cold/ flu with a cough so bad and wracking that I had to pull the car over so I wouldn't wreck it before, and my chest and lungs would hurt for days... Doctor said it was bronchitus. bull crap. bronchitus can be wiped out with antibiotics, and two rounds of antibiotics didn't touch this crap... It stuck with me for at least 10 weeks, but the worst part was the early 3 weeks.

That’s the 4th time Ive heard that exact story...
My wife, my neighbor, and the wife of one of the guys at work. Bronchitus or similar diagnosis, 2 rounds of antibiotics, etc for 6+ weeks. They’ve all tested negative for antibodies.
I was talking to someone from the county Health Dept when they came to pick up their vehicle. There was something else going around earlier this year... it was a strong virus, but it wasn’t Covid19. Everyone who had it swears they had Covid, but most show up negative.

My wife had something similar, came up negative.

........for wise men know well enough what monsters you make of them.
To a nunnery, go, and quickly too.

The nunnery in the Holy Grail???

Well its a Shakespeare line, and a nunnery at that time could have been a convent, cough, where sick people were cared for
OR
At that time the word nunnery was also a euphemism for a, cough, cough, cough, Brothel, bordello, or whorehouse :)

"go, and quickly too."
