Jumping in with the guys!

its possible the hoses are hard/cracked and seeping a bit looking at the white on the manifold. and prt of the leak.

with a truck this old the carpet will likely get wet like eric said before it leaks out of the drip tube....usually it pours out of the tube so its easy to know if the hose is loose or the core it leaky.

You should switch the heater hoses around from time to time as well (switch top to bottom). Keeps the heater core from getting gunked up from flow only ever going through it in one direction.

If you have wetness on passenger side floor, especially if it smells of antifreeze, replace the heater core. I would replace those two heater hoses at the same time and route them higher. Do it all at once and you won't have to open that system again for a long time.

OK Now I have a much better understanding!

It doesn’t smell like antifreeze but I can’t imagine it being anything else. It’s damp, not soaked...original carpet still in there...but imagine that’s what it is.

always floored it the one covered in hair.

.....i will vote for ron to remain the gawd of canukia.

Third brake light leaks also mysteriously wind up on the passenger's side floorboard for reasons yet unknown to science...

and that cowl will leak regardless.....its the rules of the rustbelt....and damn dirty ape chipmunks and micebastards

Both leAks need to be fixed. Otherwise, the passenger side floor eventually leaks onto the ground.

Did someone say cheese curds?

Possibly.
I will explore all this and probably take her in ti a local place but not without knowing what the hell I am talking about!

Isn't a cheese curd just old milk? :dunno:
