Electric razor always gave me a rash...

Shaving with any razor I've tried... I would cut myself.

I bought a trimmer and just buzz down to like a 5 o'clock shadow most days.

When I want a good close shave (8 or 10 times a year?) I find that doing it in the shower works the best. I put a fogless mirror in my shower and I can shave and not cut myself.

Last year I tried a bunch of different ones when Gillette got too pricey and started a war on straight men. I settled on Harry's from Walmart. A refill lasts me two weeks. Also got an old-school double edge razor and Astra blades on Amazon, you get 100 for about $8. I just use it on weekends when it doesn't matter if I cut myself. I get one shave out of a blade and that's when I flip it over for the third pass (one up, one down, one sideways). Tried the soap cake and brush for lather but it's not as slick as Edge and I cut the hell out of my face every time.

I can't believe I just watched a man shave his face, the same face, three times in a row. Who goes through all that ritual? I have a life to live. I can't stand in the bathroom shaving all day. That's for rich guys with nothing else to do. Might as well go to the barber every day and pay to have it done.

I shave every other day. But it's not a 20 minute triple shave with special oil beforehand, play with a brush in a bowl, moisturizer afterwards process. Two to three minutes. Let's gittter done and go do something useful.

Wrong..... I know, I once got into a scissor and rock fight, rocks apparently spontaneously regenerate. Whereas scissors... scissors you can only throw once.

The whole world shaved with double edge safety razors once. I use a brush but shaving only takes a couple minutes, no slower than when I used a modern plastic thing.
