I have a wireless one as well and don't like it either. The usb model never fails.

The wireless ones dont have MS CAN either so you dont get full control over all the modules when using forscan. They work fine with basic obd2 programs like torque (god I hate torque). But forscan needs both HS and MS CAN for full functionality.

Today some gomer sat at a stop sign, clear both ways except for me, then waited until I was dangerously close to pull out in front of me and not even go the speed limit.

I had a wireless one, with MS-CAN, and it worked well. I found the trick was that it HAD to be in HS-CAN mode to start the connection. Until I figured that out it was a pain.

OBDLink MX+ or MX. MS-CAN and SW-CAN built-in and no switch. Works every time. Cost a little more but very fast and reliable.
