Hello from Austin, TX!

Hi there, I just bought my first Ranger from a friend of mine and am getting to know it a little better.

I'm the third owner of a black 2000 / Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 / 3.0L v6 / 230k miles / manual transmission. I'm looking forward to learning more and keeping it maintained using your advice on this forum.

Everything seems to be in order except these known issues:
-Coolant Leak
-AC not working (it causes the truck to loose power if I turn it on)
-Heater not working (says previous owner; I have not tried it yet)
