Anyone on here ever had any experience with their dirt bikes? I'm gonna be looking at one soon, if I do buy it its going to be made into a street legal bike, but still have functionality on trails so I would probably put Dual Sport tires on it, just to keep it better for on streets.

I've been looking at a lot of conversion kits, so far I've seen that the cheapest ones are for Kawasaki's.. so I might look into one of them.
KTM's do look nice though. and I hear they're damn good bikes. Might take them into consideration as well.

Anyway, what would be a good size for a bike that would be good for moderate trails, but wont be underpowered at speeds around 55mph on a hilly road?

i would stay above a 400ccor 450cc any thing smaller and your gunna want more power. i say ktm because they come stock with a on road title so you can even turn a ktm 125or 250 2-stroke in to a daily driver. all the other bikes dont have that. i have been in to rideing my whole life and i now want a on and off road bike so i have been doing alot of research and looking, and i think the ktm's are nice because they are so easy to covert to a on road bike. well good luck hope u find some thing, theres alot out there.
