The email that he used for his account is no longer active. It may be that he can't log in and has no way to contact anyone.

I tried to send him an email but it just bounced back at me. I'll look through my old emails. See if I have a different address on file for him.

I actually thought of that too...someone else was going to look...I looked but he was not that careless...lol

I'm also sure someone was checking references to members on the banner signature list...there were a few people he met up with while transporting the banner and not sure how that turned out.

I did awhile ago, there was a pic of the plate on the minivan that he pulled his truck to the body shop with. He had no front plate or any pics of the rear of his truck.

And thanks to photobucket all his pics are gone...

Ah, well, that's another of those situations we have no control over...maybe DG will come back on his own...it would have been nice to at least preserve an image of his work...since he did win a Truck of the Month contest there is probably at least one image sitting in the TRS archives...

Hmmmm...will go check!

EDIT: No such luck...only the front end shot so no plate info on that...

I think I pulled a little Google Fu and found a faint pic of his tag number.

Looks like his truck, right style, right color, right bumper, even looks like the right mufflers.

Looks like DVI2692 but that "I" might be a "1"

Tried a few tag lookup sights. Only got results using "1" and they all linked back to a 1995 Honda Accord, not sure whats up with that.

Good catch...in Canada we have Disabled plates that people can get and if the DV stands for Disabled Vet that might be a clue...but I have no idea if that is applicable...

I couldn't tell if they were from his State of Louisianna (sp) or not though as the image is too blurry.

I'm doing my best to do a check on the email associated with his account. A reverse lookup has said it's valid. But when I email it. It bounces back. So I've attempted to message it via text message. If I get anything back I'll update everyone.

For some reason I was thinking Texas instead of Louisiana, so that's the state I was searching for. Makes sense why it was showing a Honda Accord, wrong state.

DV plates are about the same here. I definitely recall him being a Disabled Veteran. If someone knew his name it might be possible to go through the VA to get more information. Not exactly sure how that would work though. Unfortunately all I ever knew him by was his forum name.

Couldn't tell if they were LA plates or not, just know that it's a tag number on what is definitely his truck.

FWIW every so many years we get new plates with new numbers here in Iowa.
