Cut the perches off and reuse them. Use an angle grinder with a grinding wheel to grind off the welds. Very easy to do, and saves $30 or so.

When doing this are you guys still staggering the shocks? I'm interested in doing a dual shock setup. But I'm not sure how the valving of an over the counter shock would work when doubled up. Ideas?

i am still thinking about making some shock hoops and cutting the bed, but not sure what im doing yet.

very true, but think about the tie down positions i will have with two big hoops sticking into the bed for them "camping activities" lol. lets see her try to get out of that one

haha yea it does, but how it functions is the most important. did you make the hoops yourself?
