I think...
Instead of trimming off the lower outer ends of the bumper, just add some big jagged "teeth" across that space.

OK, just joking. The skid plate looks much better now.

That's an interesting location. I hope to put a compressor where my original air filter box was under the hood.

Ya in the engine bay would be better. More secure and protected from the elements. But this was the only spot I could put it without relocating something.

Not much going on lately with the truck. Too busy with the new house. Got some LED reverse light bulbs though. Not a huge improvement but worth $15 IMO

Explorer Leafs are gone and so are the lift blocks. Replaced with 6" skyjackers. Had to move to the second hole on the beltech shackles to keep the truck level.

So far it rides a lot better. Haven't had a chance to flex them out though. That will be the real test.

This looks fantastic!

My truck needs to go up higher but as you mentioned, the Superlift still leaves the torsion portion of the suspension pretty low. I stumbled across this a few years ago and I think it'll give you what you're looking for. I'm sure you've stumbled across it yourself but I felt like mentioning it anyway.

Keep on trucking!

Ya that has been my bible for the past few months :icon_rofl:

Coilovers are on the way. I hope to have them installed next month :icon_thumby:

While waiting for parts to come in (Coilovers & 4.56s) I had some sliders made. 2" x 3" x 1/8" clean and simple

Got myself an old canopy and built a bed inside.

Went on a big camping/wheelin trip and Im liking the new setup. 4.56 gears seem to be a great combo for trail and highway. And they corrected my speedo surprisingly enough haha.

After I climbed a massive hill I found the limits of the stock cooling system. Looks like an electric fan upgrade may be in my future.

Broke a CV axle about 4 hours from home and had to fix it in a parking lot. Kinda saw this coming with the 35s though

As for right now, the truck is in pieces in my garage. Torsion bars are coming out finally! Coilovers, CVs, Upper Ball joints & Extended Brake Lines all going in. Should have it done by next weekend.

Thanks. Ya I'll probably paint it black some day. Don't want to be too pretty though. I bought a cheap canopy so I don't gotta worry if I damage it.
