Well, I'm still running my winter tires on the back of my truck, and I'm running some near bald Dueler Revo's up front, next week I'm going to get some new tires I think.

I'm running 235/75R15 right now, it looks ok, but I think I'm going to go back to around stock size and try to get as good of gas mileage that I can. Stock is 225/70R15, so around a 215/75R15 should be close to the same diameter. I just want highway runners, don't need to go offroad at all with them, I also have snow tires for the winter. Anyone got any suggestions on what tahrs would be good? I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible, but still get decent ones.

I just picked up some half tread 235-75-R15's for about 50 dollars. Slapped them on my truck but I too am going to need some new ones around winter time.
If you do drop back down to the 215's, let me know how much of a mpg increase you get. I'm considering it as well.

if you have a discount tire close by check out the arizonian silver editions, they are an awesome tire, fairly cheap and have a 70k mile warranty, they are a great value IMO (i work there and have alot of experience with them)

I'm getting almost 20mpg around town (up to 50mph) with my 1992 2.9L on 215s.

the smaller tires for city driving, btu the bigger tires will help with highway mileage as they keep rpms down.

But if you live around hills they will make you downshift more, which hurts milage. The heavier weight of the bigger tire also hurts a little.

I have 3.73's and 4x4 stuff to carry around. What about you?

OH, A4LD too :-/

No clue about my gearing, its stock though. Mines 2wd, beds usually empty but sometimes I deliver bluestone with it.
Mines also an automatic as well. I want to do a manual swap, but I lack the patience, knowledge, and money.
