I am sorry I have been neglecting you guys, been busy (working about 18 hours a day) and am way too tired to do anything but sleep when I get home. being self employed is sucking more everyday.

There are benefits to self employment...

I remember someone told me this when I worked for a guy...I called him an a$$hole one day (I was young) and an experienced guy said "you can work for some a$$hole and grumble about the way he does things, or you can start your own business and you can be the a$$hole..."

Hope it works out for you though...it can be tough at first but once you get going it can become easier...not that I've ever had my own business mind you...but I've read enough success stories and they all have the same theme...tough for a year or two then you start to make $$$$$$...

been in business for the better part of 5 years now ...... turned good profit in my first 2 years ....... now i need to buy a $150,000 piece of equipment so i have something to depreciate for the next 3 years..........

what the oil companies don't get from me (about 80 cents a mile) the government gets.....

ha, same here! i used to be on here 24/7, now, i work 13hr days, almost everyday now. hang in there with the business though! its better than working for some a-hole!

I know how you feel, I'm the son of a self employed stone quarrymen.
I tried to keep up with the old man.. but I get tired after the first few hours I don't know how he does it.
He works every day except sundays, even in winter when its below zero and summer when its 110*.
