Where in the heck do I find a lift kit or even a body lift for a 2008 4.0L 4x4 sport ranger?? I cant find anything. Will other year ranger lift kits work ?
if anyone knows of anything lemme know, thanks

As far as I know any lift from 98+ will work for your truck.

i checked a few 4x4 places and they all told me only a leveling kit was available for an 06... i figured 98+ would work, but now its good to know for sure :)

Any 98+ ranger 4x4 lift will work but you will have to have brake rotors from a 98-01 to work correctly

Anything 2002+ will work for your truck. In 2002 they increased the front rotor size and the knuckle slightly changed. That's why SuperLift offers different kits for 98-01 and 02+.

Awesome thanks for the replys.
so as long as i get 02+ everything should be the same?.
Ill look into superlifts lift kits, do they make good lift kits ?

they are eh kits.... look at the RCD kit... its a coil over upgrade while the superlift kit keeps your torsion bars

that rcd kit looks awesome.
so is it better to eliminate my torsion bars if i go with a coil over lift kit ?

it depends

are you lifting for looks or serious wheeling

i would go cheeper if its not a constant wheeling rig, go cheeper

if you are gonna wheel it hard or allot, go to the coil over conversion
their also better for desert(dezert, dessert? i dont know?) style or prerunner trucks

i would definately go with RCD over superlift or trailmaster if you have that extra 1000 to spend

ya thats what i was wondering just because im going to be using this as a back and forth to work truck as well, deffinitly wont be a serious wheeler. so i guess i could go with a cheaper kit and keep my torsion bars.
Do most suspension lifts if there not coil overs keep the torsion bars ? or does it just all depend on the kit ?
