Damn strange, but I guess this happens a lot.
A Killdeer (bird) made a nest in my gravel driveway and laid two eggs in it. I noticed this bird constantly running around the driveway and Vanessa said something about it last night.
Today (Saturday) I went down to check the mail and was looking closely at the driveway and noticed a nest. At first glance I thought it was just rocks but when I looked closer I noticed two of the rocks were smooth and egg shaped.
I don't know how they've been lucky enough for me to not run them over. Their about 10 feet behind my F150 and just off to the center of the driveway.

as 33" tires and eggs don't exactly mix. a few years ago one made a nest and layed eggs in our paved driveway. if you ask me, they are quite annoying and scare the S$#! out of me when i come home from work at 2am and almost step on one.
