I am getting a vibration in my truck on the highway. the steering wheel shakes but the truck does not pull left or right. Seems to start at 45 55 at higher speeds it seems to really vibrate fast and hum. Replaced rear shackles upper and lower control arms, wheel bearings, front and back brakes front and back shocks and two new front tires. And i just had the front end aligned. Could it be my pinion bearing? I can see a small amount of fluid where the drive shafts meets the transmission. How do i diagnose this problem?

Sounds like tire balance to me.

Agreed, move the front tires to the rear and vice versa, see if it changes the vibes.

While you are at it, check the wheel bearings again, the nut may be too loose. The general method is to tighten until it snugs up, spin the wheel then back off the nut till the closest castellation lines up for the cotter pin.

Start by getting to 65 and then costing back thru the vibration area. Then go back to 65 and slip into neutral and cost back again. this is to see if the vibration is somehow connected to the drive train or if it is simply tires/wheels or bearings. Doing this will rule out lots of possible causes.

That is a good test, but the fact that it makes the steering wheel shake makes a driveline issue unlikely, especially on a 2wd.

Clarification please! Did you replace those parts becuase you had a vibration? Or did you replace the parts and the vibration start?

Anyway, jack the front up, grab the front tire and shake left to right to test the tie rod, grab the tire top and bottom and test the ball joint. Pull the entire wheel out and push in and listen for "chunk" or "click". Also inspect the rotor for warpage.
